U.S. Tests Missiles Over Pacific | Washington Free Beacon: In the “first ever integrated ballistic missile defense system test,” the United States’ military successfully tested three missile-defense systems over the Pacific Ocean, Lockheed Martin announced in a press release.
The test demonstrates “the integrated capabilities of today’s U.S. regional missile defense systems,” the press release said.
The three systems, made by Lockheed Martin, were the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System, Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile, and Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System.
